    Have you ever wondered where your tooth goes after the Tooth Fairy picks it up? This delightful tale takes you on a journey of possibilities. See if you can find the tiny “tooth” in each hand sewn illustration. Using needle and thread, felt, beads and other objects, Jo Simonian started creating art for children's books after her young neighbor introduced her to the exquisite art of Salley Mavor. At the same time, she began caring for her mother. She found the time passed so sweetly when she had something to do with her hands while being present for her mom. Jo lives in a Ballard neighborhood filled with wonderful adults, children, dogs, and cats. She shares her home with her husband and mother and her grown sons when they come home for visits.
