Cheryl Bardoe, Nothing Stopped Sophie

NOTHING STOPPED SOPHIE, illustrated by Barbara McClintock , is a true story which celebrates Sophie Germain, who loved math and changed the world with her discoveries. Lyrical text and intricate illustrations bring to life a story that is especially relevant in an era of STEM educational initiatives and bringing to light the historical accomplishments of women.

“This portrait of a quiet heroine is elegant, striking and sure to inspire.” Kirkus
